    About the Career: The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Engineer III takes ownership of technology related aspects of RPA implementation, recommending appropriate technology solutions and delivering architectural and technical solution designs. You will serve as a subject matter expert and resource for development and technical leads in the execution of deliverables. In addition, you will work crossfunctionally with business stakeholders in technical planning and system delivery. And you will consult and provide input on business process improvements. You will provide guidance for IT policies, procedures, tools, security and infrastructure. And research and recommend new emerging technologies, techniques and tools that will add value to the organization.

    Minimum Qualifications Required (all must be met to be considered)

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related fields or direct and applicable work experience
    • Minimum 7 years of experience to include any combination of the following:
      • Application development/programming, requirements gathering/management, application security and solution architecture
      • Experience in evaluating various technology products and developing expertise in underlying technology and architecture, experience in project planning, requirements definition, architecture design, build/configuration, testing and operational transition
      • Providing innovative solutions to complex issues
      • With a minimum of 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, architecture design, operations
    • Must have process documentation and analysis (PDD, SDDs) experience; including working with specifications of system requirements for business processes (data, presentation, and logic)
    • Proven ability to adapt when experiencing major changes in work tasks or work environment
    • Demonstrated experience coaching/mentoring others by providing guidance and feedback to help an employee or groups of employees strengthen their knowledge and skills to accomplish a task or solve a problem
    • Proven experience designing technical architecture and staying up to date with existing and emerging technologies
    • Must exhibit a strong consultation and stakeholder engagement skills. Looking for someone that will listen and engage with stakeholders to understand needs with the intention of providing advice and counsel. Work with others to guide individuals or groups to accomplish work, reach consensus or take action.
    • Demonstrated experience in problem solving/troubleshooting skills (conceptual, technical, IT). Generates a range of solutions and courses of action with benefits, costs, and risks associated with each. Probes appropriate sources for answers, and thinks ‘outside the box’ . Tests proposed solutions against the reality.
    • Demonstrated communication skills: verbal and written – Articulate.  With presentation skills and the ability to communicate at executive level. Is able to communicate information or concepts clearly and concisely to individuals or groups. Clearly and concisely conveys written information orally or in writing to individuals or groups to ensure that they understand the information and the message. Listens and responds appropriately to others.

    Hiring Specifications Preferred

    • Bachelor's Degree in related field
    • Expertise in at least one of market leading RPA platforms: Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UI Path and deep understanding of technology and architecture concepts
    • Previous experience implementing RPA Tools - Automation Anywhere, UiPath. Experience in implementing Robotic technology solutions in an IT governed environment, Experience in non-Robotic automation technologies such as BPM and OCR / Extraction engines is desirable. Good understanding of various underlying technologies used in RPA, .Net & Software Products etc.
    • Previous process assessment experience for end-to-end process automation including RPA proof of concepts

    Job Accountabilities

    a. Lead architectural and conceptual designs for robotic solutions. In coordination with Solution Architects, ensure solutions developed adhere and align to the delivered architecture, fulfill service level agreements and ensure solutions remain current with industry best practices, technologies and with Wellmark's standards.

    b. Create Solution Design Documents SDD for automation processes defined by the RPA Consultants and Business Users including effort estimation. Lead efforts to develop, test and implement automation resources into production.

    c. Conduct architectural evaluation, design and analysis of systems aligned to the business automation opportunity. Will consult and work with application teams regarding solutions.

    d. Collaborate with Tm Ldr Robotic Process Automation to design and implement effective technology solutions, while using innovative business and technology processes to identify and implement improvement initiatives, eliminate redundancies and maximizes reuse of applications.

    e. Identifies, defines and promotes RPA design principles and standards for developing and executing RPA processes. Responsible for defining & meeting RPA use case milestones, monitoring adherence to project scope, requirements and design documents in accordance with the RPA Playbook.

    f. Responsible for creating artifacts as defined in RPA Playbook and RPA Policy document to meet the defined requirements.

    g. Partner with cross-functional technology and design teams to ensure consistent solution delivery. Participates in the design of key RPA processes to ensure alignment with RPA program objectives.

    h. Support RPA delivery by assessing the technical feasibility of a solution & collaborating with the technical leads/architects on automation resource design.

    i. Ensure adherence with Wellmark's design and coding standards, policies and procedures. Partners with business units IT teams to embed RPA considerations into technology processes including SDLC.
