    About the Role: In this Administrative Assistant III position, you will support Wellmark’s Director of Key Account Strategy & Innovation and associated teams. You will support the team with calendar and inbox management, meeting planning and support, travel coordination, budget coordination, creating and/or editing materials ranging from memos to presentation decks, and other projects as assigned. You'll work closely with others to deliver results collaboratively but will work independently when appropriate, taking ownership and accountability for your daily work.

    Minimum Qualifications Required (all must be met to be considered)

    • Associate's Degree in Business, Office Administration, or related area, or direct and equivalent work experience.
    • 4+ years of previous administrative assistant experience providing advanced support to multiple leaders and teams within an office environment.
    • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft office products – e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel.
    • Strong and effective written and verbal communications skills. Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Proven project, multi-tasking, and organizational skills, including time management and prioritization. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced office environment under deadlines and handle multiple assignments.
    • Ability to make decisions by following procedures that may include ambiguity and operate under minimal supervision.
    • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy.
    • High level of initiative, effort, and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and anticipating needs of others.
    • Ability to solicit cooperation and action from others throughout the organization.

    Hiring Specifications Preferred

    • Prior administrative assistant experience in insurance, financial services, or similar corporate environment; Sales is a plus.
    • Prior experience supporting a Vice President or similar executive level individual.
    • Prior experience serving as an informal leader, coach, or mentor.
