    About the Career: In this role you will serve as an integral part of Wellmark's User Experience Design team, which sits within our Technology division at Wellmark, and partners closely with our Marketing division. You will be responsible for designing customer facing digital products including responsive websites and mobile applications that drive our digital and user experience strategy. You will be accountable for balancing user and business needs with product requirements and technical constraints, and transforming into user focused, intuitive interfaces for mobile and web.

     

    Our Ideal Candidate:You are fluent in user-centered design best practices; including journey mapping, conceptualizing, prototyping interactions, with an emphasis on wire-framing.  You feel fulfilled when your designs meet the needs of users, and help them achieve their goals. You are engaged by a team that encourages a continual feedback loop to provide input and receive feedback on your ideas.

    Minimum Qualifications Required (all must be met to be considered)

    Hiring Specifications Preferred

    • Masters degree
    • Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) - Human Factors International
    • Experience with Invision software
    • Experience with Axure software
    • Experience with Sketch
    • Presentation skills (Technology and Business presentations)
    • Experience with Agile Scrum SDLC preferred
     

     

    Job Accountabilities

    a. Responsible for executing visual and UX design for a variety of channels. Plan, design, and enhance the user experience of Wellmark applications. Work to identify gaps in existing user experiences and make recommendations for improvement.

    b. In collaboration with the Sr UX Designer, Stakeholder Experience and other business stakeholders, will coordinate and manage project workload and ensure that work product meets business requirements.

    c. Responsible for the development of wireframes, process flows, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and detailed UI and visual design specifications. Will validate designs through reviews, usability testing.

    d. Identify industry best practices for user experience and ensure that they are leveraged throughout organization to address business and user goals.

    e. Other duties as assigned.
