About Us: We're Wellmark’s Brand Marketing team. We’re strategic storytellers who bring Wellmark’s brand story to life with clarity, creativity and a “can-do” spirit. We deliver full-service creative capabilities in support of a wide range of internal stakeholders across the company — responsible for strategy, integration and execution of brand activities.

About The Role: We’re searching for a Temporary Content Writer to produce marketing copy for a range of media and formats to promote Wellmark products and services. This individual will create content that results in effective and compelling communication, using Wellmark’s brand voice and commonly used writing style guidelines. Ultimately, this individual will deliver quality writing that appeals to Wellmark audiences, attracts customers and boosts brand awareness.

About You: You’re a talented writer passionate about crafting attention-grabbing, creative content that can make even health insurance more understandable, memorable and interesting. (Let’s be honest, health insurance is a complex topic.) You’re dedicated to the art of language, and are a stickler for grammar rules. You’re equally great with hot deadlines and strategically paced projects. You are an independent worker, but enjoy collaborating with teams to bring projects to life.

**Timeframe is subject to change based on business needs, but will not exceed six months.

**Position is located in Des Moines, Iowa.
