Job Summary

About the Career: In this brand new role, you will assist with the maintenance and execution of a comprehensive Identity Governance program including partnering with the business to implement, maintain, and administer IAM technology solutions and processes. You will be responsible for deployment and administration of automated access roles, onboarding applications into the IAM program, and working with business partners to create and maintain business roles.

Minimum Qualifications Required (all must be met to be considered)

  • Bachelor’s degree in or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in information technology; preferably in information security/access management
    • Experience in Identity Management provisioning and developing workflow processes.
    • Experience working with Identity technologies (including knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems).
    • Familiar with Identity and Access Management lifecycle, concepts and technologies.
    • Understand information security and risk management concepts.
      Experience with Role Base Access Controls
  • Ability to organize, manage and deliver assignments in a timely manner.
    Ability to exercise professional judgment within defined policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and facilitation skills.
  • Strong relationship building/networking skills.
  • Ability to balance customer service and regulatory needs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, familiar with healthcare, privacy, or financial compliance regulations and IT and security frameworks and standards.
  • Ability to efficiently acquire and utilize new skills in response to change.
  • Proficiency with MS Office with emphasis on Excel

Job Accountabilities

a. Responsible for creating and maintaining Role-Based Access Controls RBAC, in collaboration with information security engineering. Will design and automate process for full user lifecycle management.

b. Drive adoption of identity access governance controls through working with business and technical stakeholders to ensure Wellmark's applications have proper controls in place for managing privilege accounts, access reviews and access registration processes.

c. Provide audit, training, and quality assurance for IAM Business Administrators. Including providing technical planning and testing over identity systems, training, quality assurance/review, coordination of system reconciliations of data access permissions and other proactive department-wide responsibilities.

d. Partner with third-party business vendors as it relates to access procedures and protocols.

e. Administer document classification audits and coordinate remediation activities. Will assist in the development of improved processes, and tools / controls to ensure access controls for Wellmark data is structured and secured appropriately.

f. Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications pertinent to governance and security activities.

g. Conduct access entitlement reviews of matters involving sensitive information. Help identify and contain risk relating to information management, and foster a compliance culture.

h. Provide practical recommendations and solutions to complex and/or technical issues that relate to the management of administrative information.

i. Identify and Implement best practices for privilege account management, access requests and registration, access and account attestation.

j. Participate in cross-functional project team where required, including Risk Management and Information Security project teams.
