Job Summary

About the Career: In this role, you will utilize proven process and/or project management methodologies to support multiple tactical projects of low complexity. You will coordinate application change management requests ACRs and provide project management to ensure business processes and technology solutions align with business objectives. In addition, you will work collaboratively within Wellmark technology and business units to achieve the stated objectives, measurable goals, and deliverables of these projects and ACRs.

Minimum Qualifications Required (all must be met to be considered)

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or direct and applicable work experience
  • Less than 1 year experience in project management or similar experience in workflow management or process development  
  • Basic knowledge of various process or project management methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships of collaboration and trust
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate well with multiple levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Effective facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to think critically and strategically

Hiring Specifications Preferred


  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 1+ years formal project/program management experience
  • Certified Associate in Project Management CAPM Project Management Institute PMI

Job Accountabilities

a. Coordinate project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope to achieve stated results of assigned projects and ACRs. Utilize the portfolio operating procedures e.g. prioritization, funding, project management methodology, project tracking tools to ensure consistency and efficiency. Assist other project managers with project administration and execution of deliverables.

b. Establish and maintain effective partnership with the project business owner and BTS leadership.

c. Support projects from inception through completion by using standard project management methodologies.

d. Collaborate and assist the project team to implement solutions within the scope of the project or ACR. Leverage expertise of team members and stakeholders serving the project to identify, monitor, track and communicate project milestones, deliverables and metrics.

e. Support and follow BTS software development lifecycle SDLC, operational procedures and standards.

f. Other duties as assigned.
