What’s the Digital Content team? It’s the area that is accountable for digital content and an overall omni-channel approach to deliver the best experiences to our stakeholders. We assist in development and creation of web content to deliver on business initiatives and support data driven outcomes. The team is responsible for digital content and stakeholder experience.


What projects might I support?  Although subject to change, examples of projects are included below:

  • Facilitation of digital requests submitted to Stakeholder Experience team, including web page creation, analytics, digital campaign planning and execution, content writing, etc) 
  • Member portal (MyWellmark) transformation
  • Content assessment for digital properties (i.e. secure web, mobile)
  • Implementation of a new flex vendor to our digital experience
  • Compliance with digital standards
  • Definition of team processes

This internship will start in May of 2018.

Minimum Qualifications Required (all must be met to be considered)

To be considered, candidates must be a current sophomore, junior or senior studying Corporate Communications, Journalism, Mass Communication, Advertising, Web Communications, English, Marketing (with emphasis in writing) or Graphic Design or related program and have:

  • 3 or more of the following courses: Marketing principles, integrated marketing communications, internet marketing, interactive marketing, marketing research, consumer behavior, and/or marketing management
  • Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft office products
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Professional experience in an office work environment, preferably in communications

Hiring Specifications Preferred

  • Ability to read, understand, and manipulate JavaScript 
  • Experience in adobe products including:  Acrobat Professional and Photoshop 
  • Broad-based Web technology knowledge in software relating to Web design and publishing
  • Knowledge of HTML coding skills – code level and WYSIWYG (Dreamweaver)
