What’s Project Management in our Technology Division? As technology is ever changing, at Wellmark we are continuously working to stay at the forefront of providing innovative and new technologies to our members externally and internally. Wellmark is looking to hire a project manager intern to help support multiple tactical projects at a low complexity across our Technology division.

 

What projects might I support?  Although subject to change, examples of projects are included below:

  • Assist in oversight of Quantum deliverables such as vendor interactions, training materials, etc.
  • Work closely with Wellmark Technology project managers to assist in project coordination of technology enhancements
  • Collaboration with program communications
  • Assist in providing project management support to ensure business processes and technology solutions align with business objectives

This internship will start in May of 2018.

Minimum Qualifications Required (all must be met to be considered)

To be considered, candidates must be a current junior or senior studying Business, Communication, Project Management, Computer Science or related field and have:

 

  • Demonstrated computer skills with Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Quick learner
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships of collaboration and trust
  • Effective facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Results oriented
