Looking to intern as a Developer in our Technology division? As technology is ever changing, at Wellmark we are continuously working to stay at the forefront of providing innovative and new technologies to our members externally and internally. Wellmark is looking to hire a mean stack Developer to intern in our Technology division to contribute and learn how our technologies are modernizing how we do business.


What projects might I support? Although subject to change, examples of projects you will be contributing to include:

  •  Develop applications and websites using a MEAN Stack
  •  Learn about Wellmark's Architecture and designing solutions
  •  Assist with project work to help design, develop, test, implement, and maintain web applications

This internship will start in May of 2018.

Minimum Qualifications Required (all must be met to be considered)

To be considered, candidates must be current sophomore, junior or senior students pursing a Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, business or related program and have:


  • Experience/exposure/training or background in node.js, angular, JavaScript and or Mongo
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with the business areas
  • Ability to see a task through to completion independently or as a team member
  • Analytical problem solving skills
