What’s Sales Development? We're Wellmark's Sales Force Development team. We strive to empower the sales organization to achieve world-class status. Our work spans the gamut from routine processes and procedures to cutting-edge initiatives that support our goal of creating a sustainable health care environment. We interact with internal and external audiences in-person, online and through eLearning modules.

 

What projects might I support? Although subject to change, examples of projects you will be contributing to include:

  • Create a sales-wide onboarding program
  • Create process flow documents
  • Create eLearning training modules
  • Research sales enablement best practices
  • Assist in the development of sustainable sales enablement processes
  • Support project planning efforts for measurable success
  • Compile reports from the post training assessments to validate data year over year and identify trends
  • Assist in facilitating Sales trainings

This internship will start in May of 2018.

Minimum Qualifications Required (all must be met to be considered)

To be considered, you will be a current junior or senior in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Teaching, Education, Data Analytics, or related program and have:

  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  •  Excellent written and verbal communications
  •  Strong presentation skills
  •  Strong data analytics skills
  •  Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate relationships
  •  Detail orientated and organized
